Our relationship with food and our bodies are deeply personal, and often deeply affected by stress, trauma, culture, and early life experiences. For many, food becomes more than just nourishment; it can become a source of comfort, control, punishment, or emotional regulation.
Eating Disorders are complex and can include patterns like restricting food, bingeing, purging, and difficult relationship with exercise. There can be guilt surrounding food choices, emotional eating, body shame and rigid food rules. Even if your eating struggles do not fit neatly into a diagnosis, they are real, valid, and deserving of support.
Together, we will work to:
- Reconnect you with your body signals, such as hunger, fullness, and safety
- Process stored stress or trauma that may be driving compulsive or avoidant behaviors
- Build emotional regulation skills and body trust
- Restore a sense of self that is grounded, compassionate, and whole
This work is not about "fixing" you, but rather healing the deeper wounds and patterns that can make food and body feel like battlegrounds.
